Miso Yogurt Dressing
Last October, American food professionals visited fermented food producers to deepen their knowledge of Japanese fermentation culture during the “Hakko Tourism in Japan” tour campaign. As part of the tour, organizers held a tasting session where guests gave candid advice from the perspective of the American market to food product manufacturers looking to enter the United States market.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 3 Tbsp white miso
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar of choice (optional)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk well.
- Serving suggestion: Serve as a dip with fresh or lightly steamed vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower florets, sweet potatoes, sugar snap peas, asparagus, carrots, celery sticks, and radishes.
